Configures uniform, horizontal/vertical or directional minimum separation.

All distances are in metres. Uniform mode checks distance(A, B) < requiredClearance; equality satisfies the required clearance. distanceTolerance handles numerical uncertainty. HorizontalVertical mode uses horizontalClearance in XY and verticalClearance along Z. Directional mode expands selection A along the world axes by the six directional clearances and checks selection B against that envelope; swapping A and B can change the result. Only fields belonging to the selected mode apply. Intersections remain a separate check. Map mode values are uniform, horizontal_vertical and directional.

setFromMap() preserves omitted values and unrecognized enum strings. Numeric values must be finite and non-negative and satisfy the ranges above; map conversion does not validate these caller preconditions. Geometry is not evaluated here.
